Our Corporate Finance team is growing, and we are recruiting for a Manager, to join our high-performing team. We have had a fantastic run of successes over the last five years, with some high-profile, award-winning deals, ranging from £1million to £25million and you would play an integral part in our future success.

As a Manager, you will use your entrepreneurial flair to not only engage with clients but to get to know their businesses and provide them with the support and knowledge that they will need throughout the deal process. We need someone who can provide their expertise to maximise the potential of every part of the deal.

This is a full-time, permanent position, which can be based from our Birmingham or Derby office.


  • Overall responsibility for leading a team on smaller assignments, delegating work to other members of the team to support you. You will be responsible for allocating staff to an assignment, establishing their objectives, monitoring and evaluating their progress and ensuring team members are kept informed of progress in other areas of an assignment, where relevant
  • On larger projects, you will act as part of a team and work under the directions of the Partner, Director and Senior Manager. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality work at all times, whilst guiding the junior members of the team through their workloads on the project
  • Leading the preparation and review of key documents such as business plans, information memorandums and due diligence reports
  • Analysing information to include within the key documents for both lead advisory and due diligence assignments
  • Plan, control, monitor and review assignments
  • Preparation of detailed integrated financial projections using Excel
  • Face-to-face contact with clients mostly at Executive and Board Level
  • Attending meetings with clients, other advisers, bankers as necessary depending on transactions
  • Build strong relationships with your team, clients and Partners
  • Make practical recommendations
