Non-Contentious Valuations Specialist

Dains Accountants are recruiting an experienced Non-Contentious Valuations Specialist to join our highly successful forensic accounting team in Birmingham.





We prepare valuations for a range of purposes, including tax, litigation, or commercial purposes or for compliance with accounting or regulatory standards. We are looking to expand and grow our team who specialises in non-contentious valuations.





We work with clients to determine the fair value of employee share schemes for financial reporting purposes, which can require complex modelling.  





You will be working closely with the Partner, Director, and wider forensic team members and in collaboration with other departments throughout Dains.

Responsibilities






  • Lead and develop own workstream




  • Lead high-profile and highly complex business valuation assignments




  • Investigation and risk management in areas such as fraud, corruption, anti-bribery, and regulatory compliance matters




  • Lead on tax valuations, including share valuations (EMI, CSOP and growth shares), corporate restructurings and valuations for family succession and probate




  • Financial reporting - advise on Purchase Price Allocations and the valuation of Intangible Assets
