We are recruiting a Private Client Tax Manager to join a highly supportive and conscientious Tax team, to deliver the highest standard of compliance and tax advice in a consultative, professional and supportive manner.





Established in 1926, Dains is an independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisers specialising in advising growing SME businesses. The firm currently employs over 400 staff including 62 Partners & Directors.





Our core services are Accountancy and Business Advisory, Audit, Corporate Finance, Forensic Accounting, and Taxation alongside outsourced FD and HR support. Responsibilities






  • Research and provide technical updates to the tax department




  • Assist in the provision of both internal and external PR material on a regular basis




  • Assist the Private Client Tax Partner and Senior team members on the delivery of services to their portfolio of clients




  • Apply technical knowledge to formulate and deliver tax advisory services and to provide commercial solutions to clients




  • Recognises opportunities to mitigate tax liabilities and to liaise with Partners to implement these opportunities with the client base




  • To proactively identify any changes in legislation and the impact this has on the client base




  • Attend client meetings and build understanding and knowledge of your clients




  • Support junior members of staff in their professional development
