We are expanding our Tax team, and looking to recruit a Tax Consultant, based in Uttoxeter.





HSKSG are a Midlands-based firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors who have recently become a member of the Dains Group. HSKSG specialise in working with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and growing owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors.





As a Tax Consultant, you will be working as part of the Taxation Services team and be responsible for providing a tax compliance service to a portfolio of clients, including high net-worth individuals, sole traders, directors, & partnerships.





In addition, you will support the accounts team locally and identify and deal with client and HMRC queries.





This is a client-focused role so you must enjoy developing and building relationships with your clients & colleagues and have the confidence to respond to clients, third parties and HMRC on compliance-related and other matters.





Responsibilities






  • You will be responsible for confidence to respond to clients, third parties and HMRC on compliance-related and other matters




  • Dealing with tax matters on behalf of our clients




  • Preparation of private client Self-Assessment tax returns




  • You be preparing annual P11d forms




  • You will be liaising with HMRC




  • You will be responsible for compliance work to a high standard and working to deadlines




  • Undertake research using our technical library to resolve technical issues





Attributes






  • ATT/CTA qualifications preferred




  • Confident with taxation compliance




  • Personal tax experience within an accountancy practice




  • Strong communication skills with a confident and professional manner
