Employment Services offers a unique combination of expertise in HR, payroll, and employment taxes. The team specialises in providing advice to clients and prides itself on giving excellent service.

The Employment Services department provides advice and support to business clients in relation to employment taxes. Employment taxes include PAYE and NIC payable on wages, salaries, and benefits in kind, but their advice covers the cost and treatment of almost every form of payment or reward that a business can provide to individuals.
They are essentially tax advisers or consultants and all members of our team have contact with clients and learn not just the technicalities around tax but how to interact with clients, scope, and price work, produce good oral and written advice, solve client problems, and manage the firm’s risks. They are great problem solvers and have one of the largest teams in this area of tax outside of the Big 4 accountancy firms and a proven track record of training members of the team from scratch.

I think many people are unsure exactly what Employment Taxes covers, which is understandable as it’s a challenge to put it into few words! The more understood areas it covers are payroll payments, employee benefits, and employee expenses. Whilst it does cover those, it also covers so much more!
