Dains are expanding across our Corporate Tax team and recruiting a Corporate Tax Consultant to join our journey, in delivering exceptional service to a wide variety of owner-managed businesses based in the Midlands.





As a Corporate Tax Consultant, you will be supporting on various Corporate Tax Compliance assignments, be instrumental in the preparation of Corporate Tax Computations and Tax Disclosures, liaise with HMRC as necessary and build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.





This opportunity will allow you to develop and expand your confidence and technical knowledge, whilst working closely with the Tax Partners and wider team.

Responsibilities






  • Preparation and review of basic Corporation Tax Computations and CT600’s




  • Dealing with basic tax queries on behalf of clients with review by more senior members of team




  • Computation of deferred tax provisions and tax reconciliations (seeking help where required)




  • Liaising with HMRC when required




  • Undertake own research (seeking help where required) to resolve technical issues on the Tax Computation before review




  • Work collaboratively across internal teams to provide consistent quality




  • Build relationships to understand your clients’ businesses to deliver great results





Attributes






  • ACA, ACCA qualified, looking to study CTA preferred




  • Maintains and develops technical knowledge through training




  • Demonstrate a confident and professional communication style




  • Use of IT software and databases




  • Have a willing and conscientious work ethic
